LIFE IS NOT A BED OF ROSES
The word ‘life’ simply means the state of being alive.
On the other hand the phrase ‘bed of roses’ simply means a situation whereby everything easily respond to what you expect, it is often referred when something is said to be easy or when situations are aligned the way you want it.
For example when someone decides to get something that other people are struggling for but does not think of how he/she would get it despite the fact that other people go through hurdles to get that the same thing that person wants but focuses or think of what he got and eventually gets it as expected of him/her I can simply note that situation ‘a bed of roses’. In other words what I am trying to put forward to what this article talks about is the reverse being the case.
As the saying goes ‘all fingers are different’ and ‘not everybody is born with the same spoon in the mouth’, so it is with some people. Situation differs, some people around the globe struggle to get what satisfies them while some people in the process of struggling were cut off (i.e. they died during the process) and some people their struggles brought forth futile results (i.e. their struggles were of no use), these situations can make people to develop ‘phobia’ to show manpower (i.e. fear of struggling/showing strength in the sense that it can lead to results which worth nothing) therefore making them reluctant, idle minded, ignorant of what they should know, missing great opportunities and finally dumping them in the pit hole of dependence.
I vividly remember three years ago when my elder brother and one of his friends were always struggling to make ends meet and also provide for the family, they would come back from a laborious day job which they always do in the morning hours which their wages half of it would be taken to buy pain killer drugs and sachet water and it will finish, take little refreshments and quickly go for entrepreneur classes. As time went on their diligence began to pay when they were told about an online business which deals on affiliate marketing system in which they would promote peoples product to earn some commission, this business was not for people who are not diligent and inconsistent because the system has long stages and it requires a lot of time to complete these stages, it is often said that people that people have patience where fit for the business, in other words my elder brother and his friend were lucky to have such quality they did their very best in the business, at first it was not going towards what they expected in the sense that it was their first time, people were telling them to give up but the pretended to be deaf eared while putting those words to thought, they finally came up with a solution insisting that they would continue and consistently followed up the system. Heavens got close when they made their first income from the business as the world became a paradise when they started enjoying the fruit of their labour.
From the passage above one would easily know that life is not a bed of roses. Despite the fact that the suffered and hurdled they still overcame, one can easily note that the situation in which they were before they made it was not just a bed of roses but ‘a bed of thorns’.
In conclusion for all I have written, all I have to say is ‘Despite the bed being decorated with thorns we can lie on it through the quality we have’.
