OnTheNode respects your privacy. This policy explains the categories of information we may collect, where it comes from, why we use it, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available when you visit onthenode.com, create an account, submit a form, comment, or interact with advertising.
Information we collect and sources
Information you provide. Depending on how you use the site, this may include your name, email address, username, profile or account details, organization, website, comments, form messages, partnership inquiries, uploaded material, and other information you choose to submit.
Information collected automatically. This may include IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring and visited pages, timestamps, cookie or similar identifiers, advertising identifiers, and security, performance, or diagnostic events.
Information from other sources. We may receive limited information from hosting, security, analytics, advertising, social, email, or campaign service providers, or from a partner when needed to administer a request or campaign.
Please do not submit government identification numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through public comments or ordinary contact forms.
How we use information
We use information to operate, maintain, and secure the site; provide accounts, publishing, comments, and requested services; respond to questions, corrections, rights requests, and privacy requests; communicate about submissions or campaigns; measure and improve content, advertising, and performance; personalize or recommend content where enabled; detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents; comply with law; and protect our rights, users, and services.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
OnTheNode and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. The site uses Google services that may include Google Analytics, Search Console, Site Kit, and AdSense. These services may collect or receive information about visits, devices, and interactions according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Where required, consent or another lawful basis may be required for non-essential analytics or advertising technologies. You can use available site controls, browser settings, and applicable industry opt-out tools to manage some technologies. Blocking them may affect site features.
How information may be disclosed
We may disclose relevant categories of information to service providers that help us host, secure, measure, publish, communicate, process requests, or deliver advertising; to a sponsor or agency when you ask us to send an inquiry or administer a campaign; during a merger, financing, sale, or other business transaction; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce policies, or protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics activity may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” targeted advertising, or profiling under certain privacy laws. Where those laws apply, eligible users may request an opt-out through our privacy-request process or available site controls.

Submit a request through the Contact page and select Privacy request. Describe the request and the account, email address, or interaction involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authorization. Where applicable, you may appeal a refusal by replying through the same contact channel.
Children
OnTheNode is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children under 13 should not create accounts or submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may receive additional notice where appropriate.
