Every time I speak with someone about digital currency, they tell me they don’t understand it. Not long ago, my response was simply, “I don’t understand it either.” As a research junkie, I dislike the idea of being uninformed about topics that interest me. Cryptocurrency was one such topic I found intriguing but felt I didn’t have time to explore. I was busy with other projects, and the idea of digital money felt alien—something from futuristic movies. A friend mentioned he uses his watch to pay for almost everything, which got me thinking.
We are witnessing a shift where digital payments are becoming the norm. Soon, cash may be a thing of the past, replaced by swift digital transactions. If you think corporations don’t want your money on a digital implant, you’re mistaken. Cryptocurrency is showing us a glimpse of the future, whether you’re on board or not.
To learn about crypto trading, you must be passionate about it; otherwise, you’re likely to quit. I reminded myself that digital currency trading is on the rise and will endure. My mindset needed to be all in, akin to starting school again—specifically, the 8th or 9th grade.
To succeed in digital trading, I had to treat it seriously. Many new traders approach it as a hobby, thinking skipping a day or two won’t matter. However, there’s a wealth of information online that anyone can tap into. I decided to dedicate time to learning: I’d read for 30 minutes and watch videos for another 30, regardless of whether I fully understood the content. I aimed to fill my brain with information, knowing I could connect the dots later.
This approach worked, and while there’s more to my crypto learning story, I’ll save that for next time when I’ll explain how I increased my study time from one hour to three.
